Another week of harsh weight-loss journey has already passed. This week, I felt some great energy of motivation. Lunar New Year week passed and I felt very very guilty about the fatty and greasy foods that I consumed. To get rid of the guiltiness, on Wednesday, as soon as I arrived at home from my grandmother’s house, I ran straight to the gym. There I ran and ran on the treadmill with 7.5~9.0 speed until I couldn’t breathe. I wasn’t breathing and swallowing my spit properly while running, so a huge phlegm was stuck on my throat and I couldn’t breathe that well. After 30minutes and 10 seconds of running, I went straight to the bathroom and coughed a lot. It was quite painful, but at the same time I thought, “This is why soccer players spit so much in the field after the game. Because they ran so much that they couldn’t even swallow their spit.” It sounds crazy. However, I really felt like an athlete when I was running in pain. After a good shower, I measured my weight. “67.1 kg” Thankfully, my eight didn’t change drastically after the crazy Lunar New Year week. Now I feel so motivated every time I go workout. Working out was one of the things I hated the most. However, now I feel so happy listening to hip-hop while running and punching enormous sandbags at my boxing academy. On Friday, I went to Christine’s book meeting so I couldn’t go to my boxing academy on time. I really didn’t want to miss class so I texted my boxing coach to ask if I can go late. We discussed the time through the phone and decided to start the class at 7:40. My boxing coach then said, “Julie, you look very excited these days. Do you really like boxing that much?” Without any hesitation, I said, “Yes. I really like it a lot.” I am now really enjoying the process. Before I started this journey, I thought this will be a long painful process. I am really surprised how much I like to work out and eat healthy. I feel a lot healthier and happy.
