This week, I realized how much time management is such a hard thing to do.
I had SO much things to do this week. Not only the tests and assignments but I also had a debate contest to prepare. I am aware that sleeping is important but I couldn’t sleep for more than 4 hours everyday. On Thursday, I was so busy with preparing the debate contest with my teammates and I went to bed at 7:40 in the morning. Even though I tried to go to bed for at least 10 minutes before going to school, I was so dizzy that I couldn’t fall asleep. I was literally awake for more than 40 hours and it was killing me. I was constantly skipping my boxing classes and I finally had the time to go on Friday. There was a thunderstorm and rainfall outside but I still went to my boxing class with an umbrella because I really really missed boxing. My boxing coach saw me and said if I was okay (he saw my deep deep dark circles around my eyes). I said that I couldn’t sleep for days and continued jump-roping. Every time I jumped over the rope, my bones were making weird cracking sounds and it was PAINFUL. The cause of it was because I sat for too long and lack of sleeping. I finished jump-roping and thought “well, I should really get some sleep.” After my boxing class, I did some yoga with my mom to relax my body and slept for 10 hours. To be honest, although the lack of sleep depleted my physical condition, I felt a little accomplishment for feeling busy (I know it sounds crazy but I might be a work-holic type of person). However, I felt bad that I couldn’t manage my time wisely. I always envied people who workout and do their work productively. To me, it is very hard to make that happen. Working out makes me tired afterwards so I can’t concentrate on studying. Besides, after a workout, I crave for so much foods that I constantly watch those exotic Mukbangs overnight. Will I be able to workout and do my studying one day…? Overall, I only focused on doing my work this week. The unfortunate part is that I wasn’t able to workout that much. However, the fortunate part is that I was able to focus on my work and bring out pretty good results as well. Also, I started to do yoga with my mom at home before bedtime. They weren’t that hard and it was very relaxing. Did you know that you can watch YouTube videos on your TV? My mom and I watch yoga YouTube videos on TV and do yoga in the living room. My body felt more relaxing after yoga. It won’t be easy for me to manage time to workout and study at the same time. However, I can start working on building some healthy habits. Here are my goals:
